At Grand Lake Regional Cancer Center, we have a team of expert oncologists with top-of-the-line equipment and technology to ensure we can give you the best care and treatment you deserve. Each treatment plan that we put together is unique and individualized to you. To offer the best care, we offer several different radiation treatments. 

•  Radiation Therapy: Treatments are given with a Linear Accelerator, which generates and delivers high-energy X-rays that kill cancer cells.
• Three Dimensional-Conformal Treatment Planning (3D-CRT): A specialized form of 3D-CRT allows for even more precise shaping of the radiation field by breaking up the radiation beam into smaller parts and varies the intensity of the radiation beam, which allows for delivery of higher doses to tumors and/or further limits the dose to healthy tissue.
• After Radiation Follow-Up Care: After your treatments are completed, your Radiation Oncologist will want to see you for follow-up appointments. The Radiation Oncologist will monitor you for any side effects that can sometimes occur long after treatment is finished, and your Radiation Oncologist will also assess how you are progressing after treatments.

As part of the Cancer Network of West Central Ohio, we partner with three regional hospitals to bring state-of-the-art cancer treatment services to West Central Ohio. Our partner hospitals include Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, Mercer County Community Hospital, and St. Rita’s Medical Center. We offer one-stop cancer care, with medical oncology and radiation oncology located in the same building. We strive to provide excellent medical care and treatment plans that are individualized to you and the type of cancer you are battling.
